About

We don't fix people. We fix the systems people are stuck inside.

ISAAC exists because of a pattern seen repeatedly at scale: organizations that replace the person and keep the structure, then get the same problem back with a new name attached to it. Fifteen-plus years running large, distributed operations — most recently as COO of a 1,200+ engineer field-services organization — taught the discipline this firm is built on: when a problem recurs across different people in the same role, the problem was never the person. It was the system they were asked to operate inside.

How we work

Systems, not blame.

Before we recommend anything, we ask whether the failure is structural or personal — and we don't intervene until we know which. Most consequential organizational failures are structural. Most organizational budgets are still spent as if they weren't.

Power exists — we name it.

Every organization has a political architecture the org chart doesn't show. Pretending otherwise doesn't make a room less political; it just changes who pays the cost of the pretense. We work with power as a designable variable, not a personality flaw.

Endurance is architecture, not heroics.

Real transformation holds under sustained pressure or it doesn't hold at all. We design for the organization's actual capacity to sustain change — recovery included — not for the version of the plan that only survives a good quarter.

Believability beats hierarchy.

The right call should win regardless of who made it. We build decision architecture around track record in the specific domain, not position on the org chart — inside our engagements and inside how we run our own firm.

Skin in the game

We take gain-share and investment positions in a portion of our work because advice without exposure is cheap advice. When we're wrong, we lose alongside you. When we're right, we share the upside — which is the only incentive structure that keeps a consultancy's recommendations honest over the length of an engagement.
